Founded in 2026 in California, USA by Danielle Barnes and Dillon Barnes, our shop is driven by a singular, defining passion: vexillography—the art of designing and crafting flags. We founded Elderwood Designs to bring authentic, meticulously handcrafted flag artistry back to life. Every banner and crest we create is built from raw materials, start to finish, right within our own studio.

While flag-making is the heart of what we do, our love for the craft naturally extends into a curated selection of other fantasy-inspired items. From custom bags and clothing to unique cards and stickers, everything we offer is designed and handcrafted in-house to bring a touch of quality craftsmanship to your world.

We are also deeply committed to supporting our community; we source most of our materials from local small businesses and partner with independent, creator-focused suppliers like Spoonflower.
